Khari Roulhac, a native of Boston, Massachusetts, serves as Dean of Students and a member of the School Leadership Team at Newton North High School. Previously, he served as Dean of Student Support at Cristo Rey Boston High School, where his student-centered leadership maintained a 98% college acceptance rate and created a safe space for students to reflect, problem-solve, and receive academic support.
His career also includes roles as an English teacher at College Bound Dorchester, Director of Athletics and Fitness Programs at Bunker Hill Community College, Associate Director of Athletics, Recreation, and Wellness at MassBay Community College, and Director of Athletics at Cathedral High School. At Bunker Hill, the men's soccer team won three consecutive New England championships and participated in the National Championship Tournament, while the men's basketball team also secured a New England championship and national tournament representation. During his tenure at MassBay, the men's basketball team captured three New England championships and achieved their highest national tournament finish and win total in school history. Roulhac's career at Cathedral High School marked an athletic resurgence for the institution. Known for maintaining academic excellence, Roulhac initiated programs such as Young Men of Color (YMOC) for at-risk students, an Academic Success Program for student-athletes, and the Student Athlete Advisory Board (SAAB) to amplify student-athlete voices. He is a member of the Board of Directors at the Social Emotional Learning Alliance of Massachusetts (SEL4MA) and is a Board Member at Youth Enrichment Services (YES). He also contributed to the Boston Public Schools' Remodeling Athletics Committee, which integrated social-emotional learning skills and standards into sports. Roulhac holds a B.A. in History/Education from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an M.Ed. in Education from Fitchburg State University. As the founding Executive Director of Roulhac Enterprises Inc. and President of GetPsychedSports.org, both 501(c)(3) nonprofits, he supports at-risk students and remodels interscholastic and youth teams with initiatives like the first-ever SEL Curriculum for Sports Teams, benefiting students, coaches, athletic directors, and parents.
